Prone to Wander…
Doesn’t she look like a little lamb in this hat?
I love this little lamb.
But she doesn’t always do what we want her to do. Or go where we want her to go…see her Daddy’s legs in the background of this photo? He knows this about her too…that’s why he’s watching…to see where she’ll go and to bring her back if he needs to.
Prone to wander…prone to leave the ones she loves…
Seems fun to her to run off her own way…But those of us who have been lost before know that it’s not fun and she will not like it after all…So we watch and warn and bring back…and we never get tired of this because we love her…
“If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.” Matt. 18:12-14
